The Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL) is organizing multipurpose camps across the state for the convenience of consumers, a top company official said on Monday.
Through these camps, all the consumers can easily deposit their electricity bills and also get solutions to any kind of bill related problems, the official said.
UPCL Managing Director Anil Yadav has also instructed the senior officers to personally attend the camps being organized at the subdivision level from time to time to monitor the progress and ensure that issues like new electricity connection, resolution of metering and billing related problems etc. are resolved on priority basis.
The Managing Director has also directed all the Directors and all the officers under them to achieve 100 percent revenue recovery as per the targets.
Yadav has instructed all the officers block-wise to achieve 100% recovery against the revenue targets and to organize these camps in all the sub-divisions and publicize it. In all the blocks, strict instructions have been given to issue notices against outstanding bills and to recover the previous dues as well.
Except in unavoidable circumstances, all officers will ensure revenue collection proceedings by remaining present at their respective headquarters. The divisions and sub-divisions showing better performance will be honoured, Yadav added.
