Unemployment is a problem which can never be solved in countries like India, where population growth rate is much higher than job creation rate. However this problem can be minimized. People have perception that having government job is only thing to reduce Unemployment. People want government jobs to have job security and non responsibleness for their duties.
If we see in broader sense then actually there is shortage of skilled workers. We don’t find any Electrician
, plumber or carpenter who is free when we need.
Government should encourage and motivate people to learn skills through ITI or polytechnic colleges.
Besides Uttrakhand is having lots of potential for tourism. Opening of Home stays and restaurants can fulfill the need of unemployment.
