UJVN Limited has produced 25.9788 million units of electricity which is the highest production in a single day on Tuesday, the company’s Managing Director Dr Sandeep Singhal announced on Wednesday.
“UJVN has proved its excellence in the field of power generation by generating highest ever 25.9788 million units electricity in a single day with the help of its efficient management and excellent work culture,” said Dr. Singhal.
The previous highest power generation in a single day by the UJVN was 25.963 million units on August 5 last year.
Generating record power was not an easy task as the water level of Yamuna and Tons this time was about 38 percent and 20 percent less respectively as compared to last year. Despite these adverse conditions, the record generation by the UJVN power projects is a sign of the determination and dedication of the corporation, Dr Singhal said.
Expressing happiness on this achievement of the Corporation, Dr Singhal said that the maximum power generation has been possible only due to the implementation of proper action plan made well before the beginning of monsoon under which adequate attention was paid in a planned manner on proper operation and maintenance of the machines as well as the hard work of the UJVN employees.

Maneri Bhali -I (Tiloth) – 2.211 million units
Maneri Bhali-II (Dharasu) – 6.826 million units
Chila – 3.027 million units
Khatima – 0.827 million units
Pathri – 0.369 million units
Mohammadpur – 0.155 million units
Galogi – 0.033 million units
Dunao – 0.015 million units
Kali Ganga-I – 0.047 million units
Kali Ganga-II – 0.019 million units
Madhyamaheshwar – 0.127 million units
