Three people were killed when a vehicle carrying them fell into the river Yamuna at Damta area in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand on Monday, police said.
The vehicles, carrying grocery goods, was going to Mori area from Vikasnagar when the accident occurred.
All the three died on the spot. An SDRF team later reached the spot and recovered the bodies from the river.
The deceased have been identified as Naushaad, Pravin Jain and Ajay Shah, who hail from Vikasnagar area in Dehradun district.
