BJP expels party OBC leader Amit Saini

The mother of a 13-year-old girl, who was found murdered near Patanjali Research Center in Bahadarabad in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, on Wednesday accused a local BJP leader and his associate of murdering and gang-raping her.
Based on the complaint of the mother of the deceased, a case has been registered against Adityaraj Saini, a BJP OBC Morcha leader, and his associate Amit Saini under various sections like 302 and 376 of the IPC and POCSO Act. Police has launched rigorous investigations in the case.
The body of the teenager was recovered on Tuesday morning which was later identified by her mother. It was not yet known how the girl was allegedly murdered. “This is under investigations and we will soon disclose it,” said Karan Singh Nagnyal Inspector General (IG) Garhwal range.
The mother in her police complaint alleged that Saini and his associate Amit Saini murdered her after gang-raping her.
According to the complaint, Amit had allegedly trapped the girl in his love. When the girl suddenly went missing on the evening of June 23, she rang up Amit. She was informed that her daughter was with him. After a while, her daughter’s phone was switched off. When the girl did not return till the next day morning, she went to meet Adityaraj Saini. Adityaraj pressurized her not to take the matter to the police and also threatened that he would eliminate her family if she did not agree.
On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against Amit Saini and Adityaraj Saini in Bahadarabad police station of Haridwar under sections 120B, 363, 366, 376A, 376D, 302, 506 and 5G/6 of the POCSO Act and investigation has been started.
The accused Adityaraj Saini was a member of the OBC Morcha of BJP. Meanwhile, BJP has expelled Saini from the party. The state BJP General Secretary Aditya Kothari has issued a letter saying Saini’s primary membership of the party has been terminated.
