Six workers killed in wall collapse in Uttarakhand

Six workers were killed and two injured on Tuesday following a wall collapse at a brick-kiln in Lahboli village in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand.
The incident occurred in the morning when the workers started work in the brick-klin, police said. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital .
Haridwar District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Gabriyal has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident and announced a compensation of Rs two lakh each to the next of the kins of the deceased. Ends
