Satish to produce biopic on Bobby Cash

After making his entry into the showbiz, Dehradun-based journalist Satish Sharma has announced that he would produce a biopic on the ace country singer Bobby Cash.
The film ‘one in a billion’, which was announced in November, will be directed by Anupam Sharma, who pioneered film links between India and Australia. As a director, Sharma made his debut film ‘un-Indian’ in 2015. This movie is available on Disney Hotstar. Anupam’s second film ‘Brand Bollywood’ was released recently in Australia. This film will also be released on OTT shortly. Cash will be the executive producer of the movie.
Commenting on the new venture, Uttarakhand Governor Gurmit Singh praised it and said “this film based on our ‘son of the soil’ Bobby Cash should promote Uttarakhand globally.”
Bobby Cash is India’s a well-known country singer. Bobby came into prominence after his hit debut at Tamworth Country Music Festival in Australia. Born in Dehradun, Bobby also has had a number of programs including a documentary in Australia. Cash said, “I am honored to be the subject of this upcoming biopic and doubly honored that the initiative was blessed by the Governor Gurmit Singh. This project is more special because both Satish and Anupam are close to my heart.”
Satish Sharma, who is the owner of the English daily Garhwal Post, said “I am feeling very excited that we will be canning Bobby’s life story which is very inspiring”.
