Modi in US to meet Trump

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday night arrived in Washington DC for a meeting with President Donald Trump for strengthening strategic partnership between India and the US.

“Looking forward to meeting President Donald J. Trump and building upon the India-USA Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. Our nations will keep working closely for the benefit of our people and for a better future for our planet,” Modi said on the social media after he arrived in Washington.

Modi flew to the US capital after concluding his two-day visit to Paris where he co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
