Orange alert for Haridwar, US Nagar tomorrow

Temperature fell sharply in Dehradun and hilly areas of Uttarakhand on Friday as the cold wave swept entire northern region in India.
In the plains of Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar, the met department has issued orange alert for Saturday saying the weather conditions would remain mostly foggy with intense cold conditions.
With the people shivering in cold in the most of the places, the met department said the cold wave conditions may continue for some more time.
In Dehradun, the max temperature plummeted to 13.4 degree C, a sharp dip of 6.2 from yesterday’s temperature. The minimum temp also dipped to 6.4 degree in the early morning.
However, the morning remained mostly foggy in Dehradun.
In the hill areas, the people mostly remained indoors as the cold wave continued unabated in the entire Himalayan belt.
