The BSE and NSE on Saturday opened for special two sessions to conduct the disaster-preparedness of the stock market in case of an emergency.

The first session began between 9.15 AM to 10 AM and the second session was held between 11.30 AM and 12.30 AM.”This is being done to test the second server,” a market operator said.’

The equity market continued its upward march buoyed by the strong GDP numbers with the buying was seen in the broader market.

Tata Steel, Dwarkesh Sugar and many other stocks continued to rise on the BSE.
