India wins Ranchi Test, series

Despite initial scare caused by fall of five quick wickets, India scored a magnificent five wicket victory against Engaland in the fourth Test match and also won the series.
Shubman Gill (52 N.o) and Dhruv Jurel (39 n.o.) steered the hosts to reach the 192 target in the second session. When the score was 120/3, India lost two wickets with Patidar and Sarfraz Khan losing their wickets for duck. At that time, the game turned very interesting with English players showing a great comeback.
But as Jurel joined Gill, the two batters kept their cool and reached the target without losing any wicket.
Significantly, India won the fourth test at a time in the absence of its star cricketers – Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.
As India won the Ranchi Test, both Gill and Jurel hugged each other in ecstasy with the Coach Rahul Dravid clenching his both fists to show his happiness. Captain Rohit Sharma too started congratulating the boys.
Jurel was adjudged the player of the match.
Skipper Sharma congratulated the team and said he was feeling very happy after winning the series.
Cricket great Sachin Tendulkar said India once again came back from a pressure situation and fought back to win the match. It shows the character and the mental strength of our players, he said. “So happy that the match and as well as the series is ours,” Tendulkar said.
