Naib Singh Saini will be the new Chief Minister of Haryana after Manohar Lal Khattar quit.
The BJP had surprised everyone by choosing new Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhatisgarh after the assembly elections. Instead of selecting top contenders Shivraj Chouhan, Vasundhra Raje and Raman Singh, the party opted for Mohan Yadav, Bhajan Lal Sharma and Vishnu Deo Sai.
Interestingly, BJP MP from Hissar Brijendra Singh on Sunday had joined Congress. Singh, son of Chaudhary Birendra singh, a top Haryana leader, joined Congress at a time when umpteen opposition leaders are joining BJP.
