In a tragic incident, an engineering student lost her life after being hit by a train when she was making a reel for Instagram in Roorkee, Haridwar district of Uttarakhand.
Vaishali (20) was standing on the railway track near Rahimpur railway gate with a friend on Wednesday evening and making a reel on Instagram from her mobile when she was hit by the train. Vaishali died on the spot, police said.
Vaishali was a resident of Haripur Tongia Buggawala area of Haridwar district and was currently studying in Core Engineering College in Roorkee.
Vaishali’s friend informed her family about the incident, after which the police reached the spot and did Panchnama of the girl’s body and sent it for post-mortem.
