From Yemen to Pakistan: Top terrorists killed in various strikes

From Yemen to Pakistan, Islamic jehadists are under attack as one of the world’s most dangerous terrorist along with scores of others was killed in different US-led raids in the past few days.

The first US strikes against Yemen’s Houthis since President Donald Trump’s return to White House in January, have killed 31 people. The White House has also warned Iran to stop backing Houthis, who have attacked Israel and Red Sea shipping in the past few months, the media reports said.

At least 31 people were killed and more than 100 wounded in US strikes on specific areas in the capital Sana and some other areas. Top US officials indicated that some more strikes in Yemen cannot be ruled out.

Media reports from Baghdad said Iraqi security forces in close coordination with the US forces have killed Abdallah Makki Muslih al-Rifai aka Abu Khadijah on March 13. He was considered one of the most dangerous terrorists in the world, Iraqi Prime minister Mohd Shia al-sudani said. US President Trump also expressed happiness and said he was relentlessly hunted down by the US intrepid forces. It was a precision strike that killed Khadijah in Iraq’s western Al Anbar province. He was the head of IS’s most senior decision making body and was responsible for operations, logistics and planning conducted by IS globally.

In Pakistan, Faisal Nadeem alias Abu Qatal, the nephew of 26/11 attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed was gunned down in what appeared to be a targeted strike. According to Pakistani media reports, unidentified gunmen opened fire at a vehicle in which Faisal Nadeem was travelling at Mangala Bypass in the Jhelum district of Pakistan’s Punjab province on Saturday night. Qatal was chargesheeted by the National investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the January 2023 Rajouri attacks.
