Cong leader Mahra fell unconscious during rally

Uttarakhand Congress President Karan Mahra briefly fell unconscious after his head banged against the ground in a minor scuffle with the police during the party’s protest march in Dehradun on Wednesday.

“I was unconscious for a small time when I fell down during a scuffle with the police,” Mahra said after the rally. The videos showed Mahra facing slight breathing problem when he was speaking to the media after the rally near the Raj Bhawan which was organized as part of Congress’ campaign against the Adani group and alleged corruption issues plaguing India.

Mahra later said he is feeling alright now. “There is nothing serious. I am alright now,” Mahra said.

Meanwhile, top Congress leaders including LOP Yashpal Arya also participated in the rally. Mahra criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting Manipur which he claimed was “burning”. He also criticized the Prime Minister for not taking any action against billionaire Gautam Adani who has been allegedly booked in a case in the US.
