A helicopter carrying six pilgrims on Friday morning made emergency landing at Kedarnath area following a technical snag, police said.

The chopper which took off from Shersi helipad in Rudraprayag district for Kedarnath shrine developed some snag when it was about to land at Kedarnath helipad.  After getting signals of technical snag, the pilot made emergency landing near the Kedarnath trek.

All the six pilgrims were safe and later sent back after offering prayers at Kedarnath.
