Bahri takes over as CJ of UK High Court

Senior judge Ritu Bahri on Sunday took the oath of office of the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court at the Raj Bhawan in Dehradun.
Governor Lt Gen (retd) Gurmit Singh administered the oath of office and allegiance to the new Chief Justice at a simple ceremony. The Supreme Court collegiums had recommended the name of the 1962-born Justice Bahri as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court. She is the first woman Chief Justice in Uttarakhand.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his some cabinet colleagues was present in the function.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi conducted the proceedings of the function.
