A 20 year old boy from Haryana was drowned in Ganga at Rishikesh area on Saturday, police said.
The boy who has been identified as Narottam of village Khera in Mahendragarh district had come to Rishikesh along with his four friends from New Delhi.
All the five were taking bath in the Ganga when all of a sudden Narottam disappeared in the swirling waters of Ganga.
A search operation has been launched by SDRF to find Narottam.
