The STF has nabbed two suspected wildlife smugglers with two bear bile and three live cartridges in Kalsi area of Dehradun district.
STF Senior Superintendent of Police Navneet Singh Bhullar on Wednesday said that acting on a report about some suspected activities from Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) Delhi, the two suspected smugglers were arrested on Tuesday from the Chakrata road in Kalsi area of Dehradun district.
He said that two bear bile weighing 19 grams and 8 grams and three live cartridges were recovered from them.
The two suspects have been identified as Kalam Singh Chauhan (32) and Santu (44), residents of Baniyana village of Chakrata. A case has been registered against the duo in Kalsi police station.
