Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL) Managing Director Anil Yadav has given strong instructions to increase revenue collections and operational efficiency in all the regions.
The Managing Director has directed all the regional units to work in high alert mode to maintain uninterrupted power supply during the winter season.
The Managing Director has directed all the officers to ensure the efficiency of distribution system and transformers of their respective areas and reduce their losses.
The Managing Director has directed all the officers to ensure 100 percent recovery against the revenue targets and to organize camps in all the sub-divisions and publicize it.
All sections were directed to issue notices against connections with outstanding dues and to recover the previous dues as well.
Connections with high outstanding dues will be disconnected and consumers will be informed through phone and encouraged to pay the bills so that action of disconnection of electricity connection is not taken.
The Managing Director directed that all officers will ensure that special emphasis is laid on 100 percent meter reading to increase billing efficiency in remote areas and hilly areas.
All officers were directed that if there is a need to increase the electricity load in their respective areas, they will encourage the respected consumers for the same.
