The CII delegation led by Suyash Agrawal, Vice Chairman, CII Uttarakhand State Council 2024-25 on Monday called on newly appointed MD SIIDCUL and DG & Commissioner Industries, Govt of Uttarakhand, Prateek Jain. The delegation congratulated the Senior Officer on taking the charge for the post.
CII Uttarakhand State Council is the apex decision making body of CII in Uttarakhand which primarily drives the agenda of CII on behalf of its membership in the State. It is represented by senior industry leaders from across geographies and sectors in the state.
Suyash Agrawal shared that CII has been in Uttarakhand since the State’s inception and has had the privilege of working very closely with the State Government. When the State was formed CII worked very closely with the State Government through the CII – Government of Uttarakhand Joint Task Force in the areas of policy making and attracting investments and were active proponents of the planned industrial development approach that the State Government took leading to creation of world class integrated industrial estates in the State.
Jain was also requested to interact with Industry members, in coming future, to help them with their issues & concerns regarding industry in the State and also hear CII suggestions on further improving the industry landscape in the state.
Rahul Singhal, Co-Convenor, CII Uttarakhand Membership Panel & Founder, Shivalik Enterprises, Mohit Makin, Director, Makin Developers and Gaurav Lamba, Director & Head, CII Uttarakhand were also present in the meeting and interacted.
