Top seed Jannik Sinner of Italy on Friday night stormed into his first US Open final beating Briton Jack Draper 7-5,7-6,6-2 at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.

Despite suffering a wrist injury in the second set, the Italian overcame the challenge of Draper, who was not feeling well due to vomiting and excessive heat.

This will be the first time that Sinner has entered into US Open final. Sinner has already won the Australian Open early this year. Sinner also became the first Italian to enter the US Open final.

Remarkably, Sinner managed to win the semi-final match despite making 10 double faults. However, he also served 8 aces to show why he is favourite to win the US Open.

Sinner will now face either Taylor Fritz or Frances Tiafoe in the Championship match on Sunday.
