US emerged on the top of the medal tally winning 19 gold medals and 26 silvers at the end of the day 9 on Sunday in Paris Olympics.
China was pushed to second position bagging 19 gold medals and 15 silvers and the hosts France was on third place with 12 gold medals.
India slipped to 57th position as it failed to win more medals. India has won only 3 bronze medals so far.
