Uttarakhand Police on Thursday claimed to have solved a sensational triple murder mystery in Dehradun by arresting a person, a native of Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh.

SSP Dehradun Ajai Singh told the media that all the three bodies including an infant found in Barowala area in ​​Dehradun belonged to the same family and the murder was committed due to alleged illicit relations.

Police said that the accused Haseen (36), a resident of Nehtaur in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh, is a divorcee and has been arrested after he was picked up under suspicion from a furniture factory in Dehradun.

Three rotten bodies were found from a dry drain in Barowala under Patel Nagar police station after the local people complained about the foul smell coming from the dry drain. Soon the police swung into action and recovered two bodies of a 15-year-old girl and an eight-month-old girl child on Tuesday evening. The third body of a 35-40-year-old woman was found on Wednesday morning.

Keeping in view the sensitivity of the blind triple murder case, the SSP formed police teams and supervised the investigation himself. The SSP Singh said the ‘blind’ murder case was solved within 24 hours.

After finding the bodies, the police inquired about missing persons in Dehradun as well as nearby areas of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. The police received information about the disappearance of a woman and her two daughters from a police station in ​​Bijnor on which a team was immediately sent there to obtain information about the missing persons.

During the search operation in Barowala, the police found a blue bag of Blue Dart Company which contained clothes and other material of the woman and children. Apart from this, the police found a ticket of Roadways bus from Nehtaur to Dehradun near the Timber Lee Furniture Factory located near the incident spot, which belonged to an adult and a minor.

On this, the police went to the factory and found the same blue dart bags inside its premises also. As the suspicion arose, the police inquired and found a worker named Haseen from Nehtaur. When he was brought to the police station, he was rigorously interrogated. Later, Haseen admitted that he killed the woman and her children due to alleged illicit relations.
