The Chief Minister’s statement came after a large number of people held protest demonstrations at 6 No Pulia in Dehradun calling for stern action against all those gangsters or criminals who fired at three persons killing one and injuring two others in a dispute over a Tata Storm vehicle and money recovery.

The protesters demanded a strong Yogi-style action against gangsters involved in the crime and called for destroying their properties on the lines of Uttar Pradesh where Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath has taken strong action against the gangsters and the land mafia in the past few years.

Deepak Badola, a Dehradun-based property dealer, was killed in the firing and his body was recovered on Monday morning from a nullah at Dobhalwala. The other two injured were getting medical treatment in a hospital.

Three persons were arrested on Monday. The police nabbed two more gangsters involved in the crime on Tuesday. SSP Dehradun Ajai Singh said the police is trying to arrest two more persons involved in the crime.

Irrespective of small or big gangster, Dhami made it clear that no one will be given allowed to disturb peace in Uttarakhand. He warned that strong action will be taken against all the gangsters.
