Ondhia was on a trip to Rishikesh

A British national washed away in the Ganga near the spiritual city of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand on Monday, police said.
Pragnesh Ondhia (59), a Londoner, disappeared in the fast currents of the Ganga after he lost balance near Swami Narayan Ghat and slipped into the river.
Soon after getting the information, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel launched a search operation in the Ganga. “We are looking for Ondhia by engaging our trained divers,” said an SDRF official.
Ondhia came to Rishikesh along with his family members. He went in the morning to the riverside where he slipped into the river.
