From the sky to sea, Congress did not spare any space to indulge in scams, BJP President J P Nadda claimed on Thursday.
Addressing his first election rally in Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, Nadda alleged that many scams took place during the tenures of Congress governments and the corruption took place everywhere — water, land, heaven and sea. All the scams — coal scam, Bofors scam, submarine scam, AgustaWestland helicopter scam, 2G-3G scams, Commonwealth Games scam took place during the governments of Congress party, Nadda said.
“’They (Congress) neither spare any field. The corruption took place in all the tri-lokas (Hindu mythological concept). This is the history of the Congress Party,” Nadda claimed.
Nadda also appealed to the people of Uttarakhand to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time by providing BJP victory in all five Lok Sabha seats in the state. This would help in making India the third largest economy in the world, he said.
Nadda said that despite the impact of Corona and the Russia-Ukraine war, India has become the fifth largest economy in the world, leaving Britain behind. He said now if you give five seats for the third time, India will become the third largest economy under the leadership of Modi.
Nadda said, ‘you have to choose. On one side, there are those people who understood the pain of Uttarakhand, left no stone unturned in taking it forward, gave wings to the aspirations of the youth of the state and gave strength to women and on the other side, there are those people who cheated you for decades, who spread scams and pushed you towards destruction.” Ends
