Sunny morning in most of Uttarakhand

A day after heavy snowfall and rains, people in Uttarakhand on Friday woke up to a bright sunny morning in most of the places.
A gleaming sunshine shone on the capital Dehradun and hill resort of Mussoori. The hill resort of Mussoorie yesterday experienced the season’s first light snowfall. However, Dhanaulti, which is very close to Mussoorie, experienced heavy snowfall with tourists rushing there for the revelry. “We played with snowballs in Dhanualti as there was lots of snow,” said Amit Dubey, a tourist from Delhi.
However, in certain areas like Rudrapyarag and Pauri districts, the sky was partly cloudy.
Yesterday, tourist resorts like Chakrata in Dehradun, Dhanaulti in Tehri, Sankari in Uttarkashi, Chopta in Rudraprayag, Auli in Chamoli, Kapkot in Bageshwar and Munsiary in Pithoragarh experienced heavy snowfall.
In Nainital, the high altitude areas also experienced scantly snowfall.
Since Wednesday evening, heavy snowfall was occurring in Badrinath and Kedarnath areas.
People took to the social media to share beautiful pictures of snowfall in several areas with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami streaming videos of snowfall in Badrinath and Kedarnath on X.
Heavy snowfall also lashed most of the hill resorts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal.
In Pakistan also, people posted breathtaking pictures of snowfall in areas like Swat valley, Murree and Northern Areas like Skardu and Chitral.
