Family belongs to Haridwar

Three members of a family belonging to Haridwar district were killed and one child was injured when a santro car fell into a 300 meter deep khud at Chachroti area near Salt in Almora district in Uttarakhand state on Tuesday, police said.
All the three people identified as Surendra Singh (husband), Shashi Saini (wife) and Aditi (daughter) died on the spot. The child idenfied as Arnav (11) was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The family was going to Devghat from Roorkee when the accident occurred.
